The company oldntec, in conjunction with the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe and the informatics institute OFFIS, has made an improvement. When the person in need of care uses a certain household appliance, an attached sensor atomically sends a message: everything is okay! As a result, the number of false alarms is reduced and acceptance of the system has increased.
