A foreign country, a foreign language, a foreign culture. The first steps away from home are easier when one is assisted by someone who knows the ropes. Über den Tellerrand is a platform in which refugees and locals meet on an equal footing. Whether it's cooking, gardening or handicraft work - they implement all of the association's projects together, thus promoting interaction between different cultures and religions. The long-term goal is to create a Germany-wide intercultural friendship network enabling refugees to help themselves, for example by providing them with information about available jobs and flats.
