BuergerCloud – or “citizen’s cloud”, is the name of a new system for municipal authorities that will enable interested people to speak during referendums in the future. Provided they have the new personal ID with electronic proof of identity that gives them access to a protected Internet database. Before the vote, the participants in the electronic data cloud can obtain important information from the city council. Thanks to the system, citizens can take part in political decision-making processes quickly and securely.
