For social institutions, using data analysis (‘Big Data’) is often not an option due to lack of resources and expertise. CorrelAid wants to facilitate this access possible. By performing analysis and consulting projects, the association helps organisations with a social mandate achieve their goals and grow their social influence. Their pro bono work includes target group analyses as well as the improvement of workflows. Germany-wide conferences, local workshops, and an online platform help experts and interested parties to network with each other. By taking this approach, CorrelAid seeks to democratise data analysis and promote a generation of data analysts with a sense of social responsibility.
