There are several series of tests between a suspicion of dementia and its actual diagnosis. The Delta app accelerates and simplifies this process by digitizing classical neuropsychological test procedures, with the help of artificial intelligence. Instead of using pen and paper, neuropsychologists or doctors record the conversations with the app. A multilingual language analysis then takes over the evaluation, which can be edited manually at any time. In this way, the diagnostician retains control over the process and also saves time-consuming documentation and the referencing of test manuals. This leaves more time for what is most essential: the patient, and the early treatment of dementia. The project was developed with European partners and is currently used in three countries.
