Medieval manuscripts, paintings, staterooms, and a Domschatz – Bamberg is a veritable treasure trove. But the world heritage city is often given short shrift, although it draws around 6.5 million visitors a year. Many visit the cathedral but not other treasures not far from the Domberg. To change the situation, museums and cultural institutions have formed a network with one name, one website, and one management. And they are making a joint offer, including guided tours of all of the venues.
