easy.GO combines ticketing, local public transport, information system and other mobility offers. The free app utilizes freely available data of the local public transport, creating an unique platform.

Since almost every transport organization offers train, car, and bike-sharing providers their own app for route planning or ticket sales, smartphones can be hard to negotiate, with an overcrowded display and different purchase processes. The app easy.GO brings all of these offers together in one app. Users can find the best connections, locate the next stop, call up current departure times, find out about points of interest such as restaurants and sights, look for car- and bike-sharing stations, buy and load the right ticket onto their mobile phone, and receive trouble reports. Payment is made via the mobile phone bill or the customer’s prepaid account. In the Rhine-Sieg transportation network (VRS), payment can be performed via PayPal and bank transfer. Thanks to special functions for senior citizens and visually impaired people, the app makes it easier for these citizens to use local transport.
easy.GO has been in existence since 2008. In the transportation networks VRS (Cologne/Bonn), MDV (Leipzig/Halle), marego (Magdeburg), and VBB (Berlin/Brandenburg) regions, some 200,000 people use the app daily. easy.GO is available free of charge at the iPhone App Store, BlackBerry App World, Google Play, the Amazon App Shop, and as a Web app download for free.
