What profession do I want to pursue? Many people with mental disabilities don't have much choice; they usually work in workshops. The Institut für Inklusive Bildung opens up new perspectives for them: in just six semesters they are trained to be lecturers. As experts in their own disability, they hold seminars at universities and impart knowledge revolving around the lives of handicapped people. For inclusion cannot be achieved at a desk, but only when future managers and teachers make those who are affected participants and become acquainted with their abilities and needs in practice.
