Those who don't study, can't box. That's the motto of Farid’s QualiFighting in Muenster. Children and young people from underprivileged social environments are tutored there. And they learn how to box - but only if they do their homework. The link between learning promotion and sport improves the kids' performances at school, strengthens their personal development, and curbs aggression and violence. The key to the project's success is the close cooperation with parents, teachers, the police, and the city. That pays off doubly: thanks to the project Muenster is a federal training centre for boxing in Germany.
