How can our village remain liveable in spite of an aging society and migration? Rural residents who live in the region between Soest and Siegen are facing this challenge. Südwestfalen Agentur GmbH is helping them help themselves, motivating residents of all ages, e.g. to discuss issues pertaining to the future of their town on oat crates. The result: a network of active people has been created in South Westphalia in which municipalities, districts, and politicians can take new paths in project development and cooperate beyond district borders. For example, villages, sports clubs, and health insurance companies have recently started cooperating to improve the rehabilitation of stroke patients in the country.
