Gestigon – software for touch-free computer operation
Small gesture, big effect
With the help of a new software, cars, TVs, and PCs can be operated touch-free
The car seat adjusts itself automatically when the driver sits down. The PC automatically switches into standby mode when the user turns away from it. And the volume of the TV goes down because the viewer commands it to do so by pointing his finger. A gesture or a movement and objects do what the owner wants them to. What may sound like a pipe dream could soon become reality. The founders of the start-up company gestigon have developed a software that translates hand and body movements into computer commands. It assigns the pictures of a 3D camera to a certain command, thus revolutionizing the interaction between people and their surroundings.
