City, country, profession – this formula is promoted by an educational project launched by the Green Workshop Wendland. Its objective is to get students and university graduates interested in working in the country. Since the region does not have its own university, it cooperates with partner universities and arranges meetings between around 50 local companies and initiatives and young talent. In practical interdisciplinary workshops, for example, students work on developing “biojuice to go”. This provides them with a good basis for being creative in Wendland after they finish their studies – with ideas that will benefit the region.
