What will train travel be like in the future? What should regional transport achieve? Südostbayernbahn is asking these questions with the d-lab and inviting passengers to come up with visionary ideas regarding design, sound, light, or service. These innovations are tested in the Ideas Train, a 1:1 model of a double-decker rail car. Successful concepts are incorporated in the development of new trains. Hence a network consisting of passengers, clients, and operators is laying tracks for the future.
