The two public institutions are now jointly marketing themselves as IdeenReich and thus attracting many new guests. In 2015 alone, 25,000 people visited the museum. The marketing and development of Germany's first "cultural zoo" are done from one source, from the joint website to the implementation of new exhibitions. This idea not only draws visitors but also cuts costs and makes the two neighbours competitive in a structurally weak region.
