Impact Week – Workshops for thinkers in developing countries
A week to change the world
An initiative uses creative techniques to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in developing countries
Developing countries face a vast array of challenges ranging from nutrition to energy supply and healthcare. Ideas are needed to master them – along with strategies to put these ideas into practice. During Impact Week, an initiative by entrepreneurs and consultants from the innovation sector, students from different backgrounds attend workshops where they learn to develop new business models to solve local problems using creative techniques such as design thinking. Multipliers are also trained as coaches. The programme supports innovation and entrepreneurial spirit through intercultural cooperation – and effectively promotes local development.
