New digital applications make it easier for trainees with learning disabilities to enter the primary labour market
Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are revolutionizing the world of work. How might these new technologies help trainees with learning disabilities more easily master an apprenticeship? The publisher Zeitbild Verlag, along with a number of partners, is looking for digital answers. New AR- and VR-based applications are intended to increase occupational safety and spatial sense and are currently being tested in various companies. The project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Union, will help young people with disabilities, as well as those without, to learn together in the future. For more equal opportunity in the primary labour market.
