Jena-based companies can book an orientation tour for preferred job candidates, giving them and their families a personal tour of the city before they sign their contracts. The prospective employees learn about local kindergartens and schools, residential districts and leisure facilities. The initiative was launched due to the lack of specialized workers in Jena, which the city wants to counteract with this campaign.
