An online platform bundles queries made by delegates and makes them more accessible to the public
The right to ask questions is an important right for delegates - and a frequently used parliamentary control instrument. In the German Bundestag alone, thousands of small enquiries are made per legislative period that have to be answered by the government. When the questions asked in state parliaments are added, the result is an enormous font of useful information, which, however, is scattered in different online archives. On kleineanfragen.de, the Open Knowledge Foundation collects and bundles these documents and makes them more accessible to the public as a contribution to transparency and participation.
