Personalised medicine, treatment geared to individual patients, is regarded as a future trend, but poses big challenges to doctors and researchers. They have to evaluate more and more information, because new diagnosis possibilities such as genome analysis and certain imaging methods are spawning more complex databases. Until now, suitable software for linking them has been missing. This gap has now been filled by an application that the SAP Innovation Centre in Potsdam has developed. It enables users to analyse data quickly and uncomplicatedly.
