Many people have difficulties dealing with all the red tape in their own country - and for refugees this is almost impossible. The Moin Refugee app facilitates new entrants' arrival in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. In six languages so far, the app lists all of the offices and contact points, gives tips, and answers the immigrants' first questions. Maps with pictures of local offices and other public institutions including opening times round off the offer, which is implemented together with refugees and the association Tatenkrake. All of the information is free and can be called up offline. Thus, the foreign environment quickly becomes familiar terrain.
