Switch out a container or set a new collection date? Even today, most processes in waste management are still organised by phone and fax. As a result, they are inefficient, non-transparent – and an obstacle to a sustainable recycling economy. This is where ‘Mein Recycling’ app by the start-up Resourcify comes into play. Disposal companies and businesses can use it to request processes and waste containers digitally at the touch of a button, track them, and – as required since 2017 by the Commercial Waste Ordinance – also document them. This simplifies processes, saves time and promotes sustainable recycling management for the common good.
