ParkHere intelligent parking lot sensor
Finding parking spaces made easy
An energy-independent sensor simplifies the search for a parking space, thereby reducing urban traffic
Anyone looking for a parking space in the city needs one thing above all: patience. ParkHere provides a stress-free way for drivers to find the nearest space. The Munich-based start-up has developed the first parking sensor that does not require annual maintenance or charging. When a car drives over a parking space with integrated sensors, the modules charge themselves. At the same time, an electrical voltage is generated that transmits the occupancy status to a central database via wireless. Drivers can call up this data via their navigation device or an app to find out within seconds where the next free parking space is. A project that helps to reduce traffic in cities – for a better climate and a better quality of life.
