It may soon be an integral component of work gear: the intelligent ProGlove with an integrated scanner developed by the start-up Workaround. The glove enables employees in manufacturing and logistics to read bar codes without using a scanner. A press of a button with the thumb starts the glove scanner. Subsequently a signal confirms that the process has been completed. It is now no longer necessary for employees to look at a screen for control. This all saves valuable time. As individual steps often have to be repeated, ProGlove gives industry the opportunity to make work processes more efficient.
