Regional Network HanseBelt
The call of the North
Companies form a network to combat the shortage of skilled workers in their region
What do the 90-odd German and Scandinavian companies that have joined forces in the HanseBelt association have in common? They are all looking for suitable specialists in the region between Hamburg and Copenhagen, the ‘HanseBelt’. The aim of the network, which is organised by volunteers, is to get potential employees excited about local companies and show them future prospects. HanseBelt projects include a regional welcome reception for new employees and an annual working conference on personnel topics. These measures are intended to attract, retain and promote specialists and managers in the region – and make it an attractive place of business.
