Looking for automated helpers? In industries such as the metal, plastics, and wood sectors, robots can make manufacturing more efficient. But usually only big companies have access to this technology, among other things because it's often not worth it for established manufacturers to develop robotics solutions for small unit numbers. But ten small and medium-sized companies from the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia have found a way of implementing the technology by bundling competencies. Supported by the Business Development Agency for the Borken district, application and development companies in the Robotics for SME network are teaming up to develop new solutions.
