The basis is the energy manager, a computer that is linked to the photovoltaic system and the meter. It calculates the most efficient settings or the person's own household. In addition users of the energy manager receive a recommendation as to whether it is worth investing in battery storage so that the person can use surplus electricity him- or herself when it is needed.
