The UR:BAN initiative – a collaborative project of industrial companies, cities, and universities – develops assistance systems for cars that help drivers arrive at their destination safely and quickly. At intersections or when changing lanes, drivers can avoid collisions, for example, due to automatic braking or dodging. Also, a traffic management system installed on the street enables traffic to flow smoothly at rush hour and at the same time reduces CO2 and exhaust emissions.
