The Water 3.0 method, developed by the University of Koblenz-Landau together with a chemicals wholesaler, can help remedy the situation. With adaptable, inorganic-organic hybrid silica, active substances and waste products from medications can be removed from water. The gels are completely nontoxic, and can be used everywhere. Thus they can also be used uncomplicatedly in developing countries.
