Electric trucks make goods movement in the city of tomorrow quiet and emission free
With the increase in Internet orders, among other things, goods traffic is growing and along with it pollution from fine dust and exhaust fumes. The zemisec (Zero Emission Silent Electric Carriage) project is investigating how transports can be emission free in the future. Together with partners from research and business, the Institute for Post-fossil Logistics in Münster plans to develop an electric articulated lorry and an appropriate logistics concept. In addition, small electric transporters will undergo practical tests in Cologne.
