Emmanuel Akoto is the project manager for the PartnerAfrica Project Ghana ‘Solar Ghana Cocoa’, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Sequa. The project seeks to promote the use of renewable energy technologies within Ghana’s cocoa value chain. Emmanuel enjoys working in multicultural environments and has worked with international organizations including Coca Cola Ghana and the Embassy of Denmark, where he facilitated trade activities between Ghana and Denmark and provided public affairs and market entry support to Danish companies within the West Africa sub region. Emmanuel is also founder of Fat2Fit Ghana, a health and wellness organization that promotes obesity prevention and reduction and healthy lifestyles amongst Ghanaians. He is a proud Berlin Legend, having run the 2022 Berlin marathon. He is author of two health books.
Emmanuel holds a Master of Law and Business degree from Bucerius Law School and WHU in Germany, a Bachelor degree in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
