Gideon Brefo is a tech enthusiast with focus on supporting early stage startups, as well as marginalised women and children. He is the co-founder and CEO of hapaSpace Innovation Hub since December 2015. He also co-founded Hapaweb Solutions, a cloud technology company in 2010. Gideon has worked with teams across 15 countries. As a business development expert, he has mentored hundreds of startups in Ghana and other African countries. He has consulted on a number of British Council’s projects including intercultural fluency training for 1000 professors across 8 cities in China. Gideon is an ecosystem builder. He is a founding member of the Ghana Hubs Network and the immediate past Chairman of the association. Gideon has spoken at a number of workshops and conferences including Tech in Ghana Conference in Ghana and London.
Gideon is an Information Science professional who graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon.
