Sheila Wristberg is a consummate finance and insurance professional with a decade of experience managing multibillion-dollar portfolio for clients in the construction, manufacturing, energy, mining, and financial services industries. As founding Managing Director of iRisk Management Limited, she is credited with pivoting the relatively new industry entrant to become the fifth ranked brokerage firm by revenue in the country. Her expertise lies in risk structuring and advisory services for high-level government projects and global clients, developing insurance solutions for SMEs and underdeveloped markets. In her previous work as a chartered accountant with one of the big four accounting firms, she developed expertise in audit and tax strategy and reporting. Besides being a multiple award-winning inspirational thought leader, she is also an avid motorcyclist, and deeply interested in ESG issues, women, and youth leadership. She founded Women Leadership in Insurance Africa.
