Dr Longi Aadam is a medical laboratory scientist and the Chief Operations Officer for Kodu Technology, an agritech start-up based in northern Ghana. Leading the operations team, Dr Aadam is dedicated to producing eco-friendly sanitary pads from waste plantain and banana stalks. This circular economy approach not only addresses environmental challenges, but also empowers rural women with access to affordable and biodegradable sanitary products. Dr Aadam and Kodu Technology are committed to driving positive change through responsible leadership, promoting a greener and more inclusive future for communities in Africa.
