Amma Gyampo is an International Development, Gender, Impact Investing and Philanthropy Advisor with a focus on Market Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Building. Amma has 20 years' global experience as a management consultant on strategic eGovernment, Tech, Creative (CCI), Agribusiness, and SME programs with 10 years in the West Africa Region providing strategic advice to startups, investors, foundations, and donors to be more ambitious and imaginative in solving mass market challenges. She is a Co-Founder of the nonprofit community economic development organization and social justice movement, ScaleUp Africa.
She is an alum of Brunel University London, a Global Advisory Board Member of Reach For Change (Sweden), Advisory Board Member of Ghana's Ministry of Youth specializing in Gender and Job Creation policy. She is also a Founding Member of and National Advisory Board Member at Impact Investing Ghana. Her thought leadership has been featured on global media platforms including BBC, TEDx, Quartz Africa, Entrepreneur.com and Forbes. She recently co-produced a docufilm, "DiaspoRise" as part of an initiative to provide access to mentorship and work experience to African creatives, as well as to challenge prevailing narratives for young Africans in the Diaspora and on the Continent to reimagine "Africa's Next Episode".
