Bezawit Eshetu
Circular Economy Specialist & Regional Coordinator for East Africa at ACEN Foundation
Bezawit Eshetu is a Circular Economy Specialist and a strong advocate of creating synergies and forging partnerships to maximize impact. She has over 15 years of experience, specializing in environmental management, sustainable development, climate change mitigation and adaptation solutions, green growth, Circular economy solutions, policy dialogues, program design, and implementation. Working with different bilateral and multilateral partners like UN agencies, government entities, and private sectors has given her a well- rounded understanding of how to create inclusive, fair, and sustainable solutions.
Bezawit holds a Master of Science in Botany/Plant Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, both from Addis Ababa University.
She is an Ellen MacArthur Foundation Circular Economy Pioneer, FLTC Africa program 2020 batch, executive team member at African Circular Economy Network, currently working as Regional coordinator at ACEN Foundation and founder at Circular Alternatives.
