If you could meet a famous person, who would that be?

Resilience, Vision, Impact: These are three words which resonate so much with me in my entrepreneurial journey and vision as I cut through the rocks to build my business, grow the vision continually and impact the world around me. Strive Masiyiwa is a business figure and philanthropist who has survived enormous opposition to build a business empire, grown beyond borders and impacting lives through his business. I would love to have an opportunity to meet with him any day and time so I could tap into his wealth of experience, business acumen and personal ethos.

Nelson “Madiba” Amo is the founder and CEO of Innohub, a business accelerator and impact investment platform that supports Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) to become sustainable, scalable and investment ready. Innohub supports businesses that demonstrate clear impact along the triple bottom-line: people, planet and shared prosperity. He is also the founder of Accra Angels Network, and founder and President of Diba Marketing Partners, a sales and marketing partner for SGBs.

Nelson is an alumnus of the Oxford Social Finance Program from the Oxford University Said Business School and holds a certificate in “Development Programme in Entrepreneurship” from the Leeds University Business School. He also has an MSc. in Development Studies from LSE, with a special interest in Business Model Innovation at the bottom of the pyramid. Nelson holds a certificate in “Unlocking Finance for Emerging Markets and Developing Economies”, a World Bank course, as well as a certificate in “Startup Accelerators in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem” from the Golda Meir MASHAV Carmel International Training Center in Israel.

Nelson is driven by the passion to promote social innovation and enterprising solutions to poverty and underdevelopment.
